Unfortunately, Brandon Carlisle, the drummer for the Wyoming band Teenage Bottlerocket, passed away on November 7th after being in a coma for 4 days.  Since I was doing animation this week, I decided to make a tribute to him since I was a big fan of his drumming and loved the band.  First I traced out the TBR logo and made a graphic for Brandon, also finding a recent picture of him from the recent Fest in Gainesville.  I then got one of their songs to put in the background of the animation.  I then imported all this into Flash, as I've had considerable experience in it.  I soon quit trying, because Flash is notorious for being difficult and buggy, but also because I wanted to try Edge out, which while making some things easier, also proved to be difficult, as breaking apart the drummer's layers was impossible, making him turn into a static image and really ruining the animation.
